How it works
Regular pay = regular hours × rate. Overtime pay = overtime hours × rate × multiplier (1.5 for time-and-a-half, 2 for double-time). Total weekly pay is the sum. US federal law (FLSA) requires at least 1.5× for non-exempt employees beyond 40 hours/week; some states differ.
